Salsa in Tallinn

Hello everybody!

Last weekend was spent in Tallinn Salsa festival in Estonia.

It was first salsa festival in my current life abroad. I was excited after being in Riga salsa festival. I didn’t attend the lessons, but I get party pass and went to three parties. Two of them was in Technical college, last one in very nice club in the middle of Old city. In the day we walk around, but, it was too rainy so we didn’t saw the beauty of oldest houses and architecture. We  – four girls, we went to the seaside. It was cold and I was only one who was the most warm girl in this company later i will download some photos in my flickr page. Of course, as it should be, in the morning, when we were leaving the Tallinn, it wasn’t raining and even sun was shining.

Only near the bus it started to snow a bit.

Lately, last 3 days in Latvia it is snowing. Unfortunately, this night it start to rain cants and dogs so I woke up because of the sound when water drops are kicking  windows.

Next weeknd is hoepfully in the warm place, in Africa

 

to choke with your boss

Aha, that’s right, even my lunch time I can’t spent without talking about job. Even if this half an hour is not paid. Sad, that there is such directors who can’ t find a time to visit my lab but is following me in my lunchtime and asking questions. And I was really rude about it.

This is the day, when I am really tired – 3 chemistry’s together- it is really too much in one 7 hour day.

However – I have massage this evening I am looking forward to it..

 

Weekend

I had a great weekend. I met a lot of friends.

After wonderful movie ” Paris” , which gave me belief, that everything happens with reason, even if its not seen in the same moment, I met a friend for chat and salsa music

On Friday I visited exhibition of pumpkins. Unfortunately this was not good  year for pumpkin growing, so I didn’t get some bareness pumpkin seeds. But I found a great crunchy pumpkin, some honey and some Latvian  lemon for snacks in the dark winter evenings

I spent my evening in some funny restaurant called ” Hospitālis” (English. -hospital), where is everything what you want to see from eye doctor, dentist stuff and gynecologist stuff. Black toilet and toilet  which has  mirrors around and even on the floor. As I don’t like doctors and hospitals, First of all,I said, that I wont go, but after being there, I liked it a lot, so I am planning to come back for some drinks

Mandarin, The

Exactly – Christmas is coming  and Rimi started to sell mandarins ))

My lunch has consist of mandarins!!!

 

U2 in Riga

…U2  in Riga in 3D format. We decided to send our friends to watch it. I guess it will be wonderful, but not so excited as we had in Frankfurt. In Eastern holidays we went to Frankfurt, Germany, and because it was holidays  and every German shop and cafe were closed, only 3D cinema was opened and near the midnight we went to it and had a great experience – only two of us sitting in the middle of more then 300 seat cinema and watching U2 in 3D!

 

My work is great Fun!

I am happy to say this, because it is my life concept – to have a great fun at work and be happy at home and with Friends.

 

Monday

I got tickets to Egypt and I found very old webpage – not updated since 2005- about hotel, where i will be staying over for 7 nights.

First – I am waiting my holidays! Really – a lot! Before going to  warm place, I will be dancing 3 night in Tallin, where is Salsa festival going on. It will be the same weather as here, in my country – raining, snowing and cold.

By the way – I am still watching animes. last from Ghibli production called Mononoke Hime. Idea as allways the same – people are destroying  nature, even, if we know, that people are nature too In my account there is more then one  story about global interaction between people, animals and plants. For example – WALL-E was funny but very sweet cartoon  about how people can forget about what really is on the Earth.

For monday morning its enought.

Izlēmu, ka  pienācis arī mans laiks spamot.

No ŗi`ta pat likās, ka diena būs jauka un viens mīļš feiss no rīta apkārt vazājās. Un arī dzeltenu krizantēmu dabūju savai darba kolēģei. BET  ir kāds cilvēks, kas šodien mani izkalpina. BRRRRR, kā nepatīk, ja manus plānus maina citi…..

P.S. pēdējā laikā rakstu tikai par negatīvo? Protams, pozitīvais ir tikai vēl ceļā!!!!!

Don’t worry, be happy?

I like to travel. Of course, who don’t like? Most of the people around me like to travel. If there is time, if there is enough money – Go ahead!

First in my life I decided about journey in one day. I was looking forward for good ideas for two month already, but they didn’t come. I was so thirsty to go somewhere so I accepted proposal from my friend to for 7 day trip to lay down near the Red Sea.

I paid a lot of money and waited for voucher and plain ticket. Our choose was the best hotel near the sea its some 10 m from sea. I am eager to know everything about places where I go, especially I am professional to read other travelers advices. They talk about problems with  hotels. Most people who had experience with travel agencies, says, that always there is some changes in hotels.

In my case – it is! After reading it, I received a phone call that hotel has no rooms for us and we should choose other one. I guess, now it will be fine, and we can stay in hotel from second choice.
